Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Price Hiked For The First Time

Following the footstep of H'Ness CB350, its core rival Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has also become dearer by up to Rs 3146, depending on the variant. It's the first time when RE has hiked the prices of Meteor cruiser motorcycle. Here check out the revised price list: –

*All prices, ex-showroom Delhi.

As the above table indicates the price hike ranges around Rs 3,000 for all the variants. With this, the top-spec Supernova variant has become Rs 1,156 more expensive than the Honda H'Ness CB350's top-of-the-line DLX PRO variant, which cost Rs 1,92,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). Although the Meteor 350 offers less features than the Highness CB350, RE's extensive dealer network across the country is its blue sky. And even its base spec Fireball trim comes with all the essential features such as twin-pod instrument cluster, turn-by-turn navigation assist, disk brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, etc. Compared to the Supernova trim, it only misses out cushioned pillion backrest, a windshield, premium color schemes, and chrome elements.

The Meteor 350 is the latest motorcycle from the Chennai-based manufacturer. It underpins an entirely new J-platform and is powered by a brand-new air-cooled, long-stroke, fuel Injected 349cc engine, which comes with a counterbalance that improves the refinement of the motor. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, the motor develops 20.4PS and 27Nm. Compared to the Thunderbird, the bike is 6kg lighter, thanks to its new double downtube split-cradle frame.

In the mid-range cruiser segment, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 competes against the likes of  Honda H’ness CB350 (Rs 1.86 lakh to Rs 1.92 lakh) and Jawa (Rs 1.74 lakh to Rs 1.83 Lakh). Currently, the Meteor 350 is commanding a waiting period of up to 90 days, depending on the variant & city.
