Maruti Suzuki To Recall 40,453 Units of Eeco Over Missing Standard Symbol On Headlights

Country's largest passenger carmaker, Maruti Suzuki India Limited has recalled 40,453 units of Eeco van for a possible issue relating to a standard symbol missing on the headlights. The company has also stated that the suspected units of Eeco were manufactured between November 4th 2019 and February 25th 2020.

Maruti will inspect 40,453 units of Eeco for the missing standard symbol on the headlamp. And if any action is required, it will be done free of charge. Owners of these suspected units will be communicated by Maruti Suzuki authorized dealers in due course of time. In between, customers can also check whether their car is affected by the recall or not. For that, customers have to visit "Imp Customer Info" section on Maruti Suzuki Arena website. There will be a section in which customers can enter their vehicle's chassis number (MA3 or MBH, followed by a 14-digit alpha-numeric number) to check whether their vehicle needs any inspection.
