Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Exhaust Sound Revealed

Royal Enfield is a cult brand in India, and it would not be wrong if the popularity of its products is credited to their unique styling and iconic exhaust sound. And the story is no different for the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350, as the Chennai based manufacturer has recently released a short clip sharing the exhaust note of the upcoming bike.

Royal Enfield lovers will be happy to know that the brand has retained its iconic thump even in the Meteor 350. However, it is slightly different from the BS6 Classic 350, with louder and faster beats.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be a direct replacement for the Thunderbird 350X motorcycle. It is slated to launch on 6th November 2020, but most of the details about this upcoming neo-retro cruiser has already been revealed through leaked documents and images.

The Meteor 350 will be the first motorcycle from RE, which underpins the new ‘J’ platform. The heart of the bike will be a new 350cc, single-cylinder, air-oil cooled long-stroke engine that generates 20.2bhp of max power at 6100rpm and 27Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. For the first time on a 350cc RE bikes, the Meteor 350 will feature a 6-speed transmission, that is expected to be smoother than its sibling's 5-speed gearbox. We also expect the Meteor 350 to be more refined and cleaner than the existing 350cc RE bikes.

The Meteor 350 will be the most feature-packed bike from the brand. It is likely to get a LED DRL, LED tail lamps, USB charging port, and a semi-digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity & turn-by-turn navigation support. It will available in three variants: Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is likely to be priced between Rs 1.68 and Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, It will take on the  Bajaj Dominar 400, Jawa, Benelli Imperiale 400, and Honda H'Ness CB 350
