Royal Enfield Meteor 350 To Launch On 6th Novermber

The Chennai based bike maker is all set to launch its highly anticipated 350cc retro-cruiser motorcycle, the Meteor 350. This will be the Royal Enfield's answer to the recently launched Honda H'Ness CB 350. The bike will hit the market on 6th November 2020. It will be a direct replacement to the Thunderbird 350X motorcycle.

About Royal Enfield Meteor 350 

The Royal Enfiled Meteor 350 is the first bike that has been built on the new 'J' platform. Unlike other RE motorcycles, the Meteor will receive many modern elements and it will be the most feature-packed bike from the brand. 

The Meteor 350's specification and features details were dripped some time ago and according to the leaked documents, the new RE cruiser will be introduced in a total of three variants: Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. The Fireball will be the base trim of the Meteor 350 and will feature an all-black theme with color-coded fuel tank and rim stickers.

The Stellar variant will be the mid-variant. It is expected to get the color-coded body panels, cushioned backrest, 3D Royal Enfield logo on the fuel tank, and chrome garnishing on the exhaust system and fuel injector cover. On the other hand, the top Supernova might additionally get premium seat covers, chrome garnished side indicators and a large windshield.

The main highlight of the bike comes in the form of Bluetooth equipped semi-digital instrument cluster, which will be standard across all variants. It will offer smartphone connectivity function with turn-by-turn navigation assist, service reminder, fuel gauge, time, trip meter, etc.  Apart from this, it will also feature LED DRL, LED taillamp, and handlebar-mounted USB charging port.

The RE Meteor 350 will be powered by a new 350 cc, single-cylinder, air-oil cooled, long-stroke engine that churns out 20.2bhp of maximum power and 27Nm of peak torque. The engine is expected to get a new 6-speed transmission with a smoother and lighter clutch operation. We expect the Meteor 350 motorcycle to be more refined and clean than the existing 350cc RE bikes.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is expected to be priced between Rs 1.65 and Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, It will compete against the Bajaj Dominar 400, Jawa, Benelli Imperiale 400, and Honda H'Ness CB 350.
