7 Seater MG Hector Plus To Launch In January 2021

MG Motors India had launched the 6-seater version of Hector SUV in July 2020 dubbed as "Hector Plus". Now, the brand is gearing up to launch its 7-seater avatar in January 2021.

7-Seater MG Hector Plus – How will it be different from the 6-seater version?

Design & features-wise, the 7-seater version of Hector Plus SUV will be similar to the 6-seater model. However, it will get a split-folding bench instead of captain seats in the 2nd row. It might also get some cosmetic alterations inside and out to distinguish between both versions.

7-Seater MG Hector Plus – Engine & Gearbox

The 7-seater Hector Plus will also get the same powertrain options as the current model, which includes 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol (143PS/250Nm), and a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine (170PS/350Nm). The turbo-petrol will come with the choice of a 48V mild-hybrid system. Both motors will get a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. There will also be an option of a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) with the non-hybrid petrol model.
