Skoda India has shared another teaser of the upcoming Slavia facelift ahead of its launch on August 18, 2026. The teaser provides a glimpse of its new design elements, giving us an idea of what the facelifted sedan will look like.
2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift – What To Expect?
The teaser shows a glimpse of the chrome-studded grille, along with a new design for the alloy wheels. Expect it to also get revised detailing for the LED headlamps and connected treatment for the tail lamps. Besides, the design of the bumpers could also be tweaked for added freshness.
Skoda is also likely to introduce new body colour shades for the upgraded sedan.

Inside, the Slavia is expected to retain the same dashboard layout as the outgoing model, albeit with a new cabin theme and revised upholstery. Similar to the new Skoda Kushaq, it is also likely to receive new graphics for the infotainment and digital cluster, panoramic sunroof, and a massage function for rear seats.
In addition to the above-mentioned changes, the Czech automaker is also expected to rejig the variant lineup and feature distribution to strengthen the lower and mid-spec trims and offer better overall value.

New Automatic Gearbox Incoming
While it is not official, Skoda is likely to introduce a new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox for the 1-litre TSI engine (115PS/178Nm) of the Slavia, replacing the current 6-speed unit. It will be offered alongside the existing 6-speed manual gearbox. Besides, the 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine (150PS/250Nm) will also be retained with the facelifted model, which comes solely with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
Expected Price and Rivals
Expect the 2026 Skoda Slavia to command a slight premium over the outgoing model, which retails between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will continue to take on the likes of the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and the Volkswagen Virtus.
