2026 Renault Triber Updated With New Features

Renault India has updated the Triber cross MPV with a couple of new features, including an automatic air conditioning system and one-touch fold & tumble function for the 2nd row seats. Besides, the carmaker has also democratised some key features across the variant lineup.

Other Features Onboard

The other notable features include projector headlamps, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch TFT cluster, rear AC vents, roof rails with up to 50kg load carrying capacity, dual glovebox, a rear wiper & washer, rain-sensing wipers, a smart access card for keyless lock/unlock, a cooled glovebox, cruise control, and much more.

Mechanically Unchanged

Powering the Renault Triber is a 1-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, making 72PS of max power and 96Nm of peak torque. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT unit.

Likely To Get Turbo-Petrol and CNG Options

In other news, Renault is reportedly gearing up to introduce the much-demanded 1-litre HR10 turbo-petrol engine with the Triber. It is also likely to get a factory-fitted dual-cylinder CNG kit. The brand will also move the Triber from the existing CMF-A platform to the new RGEP architecture. Tap here for more details.

Competition Check

Being a sub-4-meter cross-MPV with a flexi-seating option, the Renault Triber goes up against its rebadged version, Nissan Gravite. It can also be seen as an affordable alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6.
