Tata Sierra 2025 review

Our Thoughts About Sierra

We have driven the new Tata Sierra, and it stands out as one of the best Tata cars we have seen in recent years. The SUV has a robust road presence, feels premium inside and out, and comes loaded with features. In fact, it offers the best material quality we’ve experienced in a Tata so far.

While we haven’t driven the N.A. petrol version yet, the turbopetrol engine really excited us with its performance and responsiveness. However, the ride quality diesel-automatic doesn’t feel as plush as some other Tata models, largely due to its 19-inch wheels, which tend to pass sharper bumps to the cabin at high speeds. On the electronics front, we didn’t face any issues during our drive, but a few fellow drivers did report glitches, once again raising questions around Tata’s long-term reliability.
