The 2025 BYD Seal has been launched in India with prices now ranging between Rs 41 lakh and Rs 53.15 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets an updated suspension setup and a few new convenience features.

2025 BYD Seal – What’s New?
- As part of the MY 2025 updates, all the variants of the BYD Seal get a powered sunshade and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also receives an improved air conditioning with a larger compressor, a new module for the air purification system, and a new silver-plated dimming canopy in the panoramic sunroof.
- BYD has also equipped the mid-spec Premium variant with frequency-selective dampers (FSD) that allow the suspension system to adjust its damping characteristics based on the frequency of road inputs, thus improving ride comfort and handling. Earlier, this feature was limited to the top-spec Performance variant.
- The range-topping Performance variant gets a new DiSus-C system, which is actually BYD’s intelligent adaptive suspension technology, which aims to deliver a smoother riding experience. It uses real-time data from various sensors to continuously adjust the damping force of the shock absorbers.
- Lastly, the Seal also receives a new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery with a 15-year lifespan.
