Nissan India is all set to launch the Magnite Facelift on October 4, 2024. Bookings for this upgraded sub-4m SUV are now open and its deliveries will commence from October 5. Ahead of its arrival, Nissan has given us a glimpse of how its cabin will look like.
In the latest teaser images, we can see the Magnite facelift will retain the same dashboard layout as its predecessor. However, it will flaunt a new dual-tone black-and-brown cabin theme instead of the existing all-black scheme, giving it a more upmarket feel. New leatherette upholstery and standard six airbags are also expected.
On the features front, the 2024 Nissan Magnite is expected to get a single-pane electric sunroof, an in-built air purifier, ambient lighting, and a bigger infotainment system with new graphics. Besides, features like wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, auto AC, rear AC vents, digital instrument cluster, steering mounted controls, cruise control, push-button start, height adjustable driver’s seat, powered ORVMs, rear wiper & washer, 360-degree camera, low tyre pressure indicator, etc., will be carried over from the existing model.

On the outside, the Magnite will feature new 6-spoke dual-tone alloys, a revised front grille, a slightly revised lighting setup and tweaked bumpers. We also expect Nissan to introduce new paint schemes.
We do not expect any changes underneath the hood. It will carry forward the existing 1-litre naturally-aspirated and turbocharged petrol engine options. Here’s a look at their specifications and gearbox options: –
Engine | 1-litre naturally-aspirated petrol | 1-litre turbocharged petrol |
No of Cylinders | 3 | 3 |
Max Power | 72PS | 100PS |
Peak Torque | 96Nm | up to 160Nm |
Transmission | 5-speed manual/5-speed AMT | 5-speed manual/CVT |
In the Indian market, Nissan Magnite locks horns with the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza and Fronx, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Toyota Taisor and Renault Kiger.
