Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the 2023 version of the Yezdi Roadster and a dual-tone variant of the Jawa 42, featuring refreshed design, updated hardware and reworked ergonomics for these bikes.
It is worth noting that these new models will be sold alongside their existing versions. And interestingly, Jawa has lowered the price of the standard Jawa 42 by Rs 6,000. It now costs Rs 1,89,142 (ex-showroom).

The bikemaker hasn’t made any changes on the mechanical fronts. Having said that, the Yezdi Roadster continues with the 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, making 29.5PS and 28.9Nm. On the other hand, the Jawa 42 gets a 294.7cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 27.3PS and 26.8Nm.
