2023 Hyundai Verna Interior Teased Again; Features Revealed

• Some interesting interior bits of the 2023 Hyundai Verna has been revealed.

In order to build up momentum for the launch of the new-generation Hyundai Verna (2023), the Korean carmaker has released yet another teaser of the upgraded sedan, this time sharing clear images of the car’s interior bits.

New Features

The 2023 Hyundai Verna will get a curved twin display setup comprising a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a Venue-like coloured digital instrument cluster. Furthermore, it will have a segment’s first switchable infotainment & climate controller that will enable you to switch between infotainment and AC control at the touch of a button. Besides, the sedan will also receive an 8-speaker Bose premium sound system, front ventilated & heated seats, ambient lighting system, rear AC vents, up to 6 airbags, and much more.

It is also expected to feature ADAS technology, which should include active safety features, such as adaptive cruise control, auto-emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, etc.

Variant and Engine Options

Hyundai will offer the new Verna with two engine options across four variant levels: EX, S, SX and SX (O). The first will be a 115PS 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic, and the other will be a 160PS 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol mill with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT transmission options.

Bookings and Launch Date

Bookings for the new Hyundai Verna are already underway for a token amount of Rs 25,000, and its launch will take place on March 21, 2023. Once launched, it will continue to go up against the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
