Facelifted Hyundai i20 N Line
Right after launching the updated i20 in India, Hyundai has now brought the facelifted i20 N Line to our market. It continues to be offered in two variants – N6 and N8.
2023 Hyundai i20 N Line Variants | Ex-Showroom Price | Difference From Pre-Facelift Model |
N6 | Rs 9.99 lakh (manual), Rs 11.10 lakh (DCT) | Manual version is Rs 20,000 more affordable than N6 iMT |
N8 | Rs 11.22 lakh (manual), Rs 12.32 lakh (DCT) | Prices remain the same |
Similar to the regular Hyundai i20, its performance-oriented N Line version also receives some minor cosmetic changes and a new manual gearbox replacing the clutchless manual iMT unit.
Like the outgoing version, the facelifted i20 N-Line continues with a sportier suspension setup, rear disc brakes and a sportier exhaust note over its regular version.

Powering the updated Hyundai i20 N Line is the same 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine as its previous version that churns out 120PS and 172Nm. However, it now receives a new 6-speed conventional manual gearbox, replacing the 6-speed clutchless intelligent manual transmission (iMT). On the other hand, the automatic option is still the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
The i20 N Line doesn’t have any direct rival in the Indian market. Nevertheless, the Tata Altroz iTurbo could be considered as its affordable alternative.
