2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan To Get Three New Colors

Royal Enfield is working on the updated version of Himalayan adventure tourer motorcycle. Last time we have reported several new changes that the upcoming Himalayan will get. Now, another media report is suggesting that the 2021 iteration of the bike will be available in three new paint schemes, which includes Mirage Silver, Pine Green, and a revamped variation of the existing Granite Black.

Apart from the above-mentioned colors, the Himalayan will continue to get its existing shades: Lake Blue, Gravel Grey, and the Rock Red. Royal Enfield has also worked on the comfort and ergonomics of the motorcycle, and hence, the bike is reported to get a new seat with better cushioning, taller smoked wind-screen, and a strengthened tail rack. The front fuel tank mounted rack has also been redesigned and shifted a little forward to overcome the knee interference issue.

The earlier spied images have also suggested that the new Himalayan will also get a tipper navigation system, similar to the Meteor 350. However, its existing digital-analogue instrument panel will be retained. Mechanically, it is expected to be powered by the same 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled fuel-injected engine, which generates 24.3bhp and 32Nm.

Considering all changes, the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan could carry a premium over the ongoing model which is priced at Rs 1.91 lakh (ex-showroom).

In the other news, the Royal Enfield is expected to launch a new model every quarter. We expect the brand to bring the all-new Royal Enfield Hunter 350, a new version of Classic 350, and a 650cc cruiser bike by the end of 2021.
