The all-new KTM RC 390 has recently been spied in the production-ready avatar, indicating the launch is just around the corner. It is expected that the brand will declare its launch date just after the restrictions ends in several states. Here's all you need to know about the upcoming RC 390 before its launch: –

– It's the first time when the KTM RC 390 has undergone an extensive makeover since its launch in 2013. It will sport an all-new front fascia, featuring a new single-piece LED projector headlamp (somewhat similar to the Duke 390) and panel-integrated LED DRLs on both sides with LED indicators. The windscreen of the new RC is also bigger than the existing model so it can offer greater wind protection.
– The brand has also done away with the aggressively styled front fairing elements, giving the sportier beast a bit conventional look. The fuel tank design has also been revised and so it's capacity.
– KTM has also reportedly worked on the ergonomics of the bike, making it more comfortable. Moreover, it also gets a new split seat setup featuring wider pillion support.
– The exhaust system of the bike has also been altered and gets a new silver-finished heat shield.
– While the underpinnings of the 2021 RC 390 remain unchanged, it gets a new sub-frame to improve pillion comfort.
– Besides, the upgraded KTM RC 390 also likely to get new clip-on handlebars, a new TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, multiple riding modes, a quick shifter, a revised taillamp, new color schemes, and new alloy wheels with improved tires.
– Powering the 2021 RC 390 will be the same 373.5cc liquid-cooled engine as the ongoing model with identical power output – 43.5PS and 36Nm. It’ll continue to be mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.

– Courtesy of these tweaks, we believe the 2021 KTM RC 390 comes at a significant price premium over the ongoing model, which retails at Rs 2,65,897 (ex-showroom).
– In the Indian market, it will continue to rival the TVS Apache RR 310 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
