2021 Audi Q5 Facelifted Launched At Rs 58.93 Lakh

German automaker Audi has already created excitement in the Indian automotive market this year by launching a slew of new cars, including the e-Tron range. And now, it has taken another step by giving a facelift update to its popular Q5 SUV. It’s available in two broad trims: Premium Plus and Technology, ranging at Rs 58.93 lakh and Rs 63.77 lakh (ex-showroom India), respectively.

Starting with the design, the updated Q5 features a youthful styling with a new & bigger single-frame grille, teamed up with refreshing LED headlights and redesigned bumpers. Other changes include the new dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels, twin exhaust, as well as new redesigned LED tail lamps. Overall, the SUV looks sportier than before.

Inside, the dashboard layout of the new Q5 remains nearly identical to its previous iteration, which was discontinued last year. However, it gets some hi-tech appointments in the form of Audi's new 10.1-inch MMI infotainment system, which can be controlled via touch inputs only. The SUV also gets connected car tech along with Amazon's Alexa, Audi virtual cockpit display, three-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 180W 10-speaker sound system, auto-dimming & heated ORVMs, powered tailgate, multiple driving modes (Audi Drive Select), park assist, powered front seats, memory function for driver's seat and ORVMs, and much more. Click here for variant-wise features details.

2021 Audi Q5's color choices are – Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Ibis White, Manhattan Gray, and Floret Silver. It also gets two double-tone color options for the cabin: Black/Brown and Black/Beige.

Audi offers the new Q5 with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that delivers a maximum power output of 245PS and a peak torque of 370Nm. It comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, driving all four wheels via Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The same mill also powers the Audi A6 sedan.

The Audi Q5 locks horns with the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, and the recently launched facelifted Volvo XC60.
