Electrified Toyota Innova Crysta Revealed At IIMS 2022

Toyota has showcased the electric version of its highly popular people mover (MPV), the Innova Crysta, at the ongoing Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2022.

The electric version of the Toyota Innova Crysta looks largely similar to its standard model save for some minor tweaks such as an EV-specific closed-off grille, redesigned bumpers, EV/Electric badging on the front fenders and tailgate, and blue color finishes on various elements to denote its electric nature.

Similarly, on the inside, the cabin looks largely similar to that of the standard Innova Crysta except for the ‘Innova EV’ badging on the front seats’ headrests. It also gets an updated instrument cluster with analogue dials and a digital eco meter. The brand has also updated its infotainment system to display various vehicle information like battery level, speed, available range, current power output, and much more.

Toyota hasn’t revealed the technical specifications of the Innova EV yet, but in a leaked image, the battery charge level (67 percent) and the remaining range (134km) can be seen. This suggests that its range at 100 percent would be around 210km. However, this is not an official figure and we will soon update this space with concrete details. So stay tuned with gaadify.com.
