MG Motor To Award A Customised SUV To Silver Medalist Paralympian Bhavina Patel

MG Motor India has announced to gift a customized MG SUV to Bhavina Patel, who is a wheelchair-bound Paralympian and has won a silver medal in table tennis in the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. While MG hasn't revealed the model name to be offered to Bhavina, the brand could award the soon-to-be-launched Astor SUV to the silver medallist.

For those who aren't aware, the MG Astor SUV will come with level-2 ADAS tech and a personal artificial intelligence assistant that will be voiced by a former paralympic athlete and Khel Ratna awardee Dr. Deepa Malik. Besides, the SUV will also come with features like a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver's display, connected car tech, multiple parking sensors, 360-degree cameras, and much more.

In its press release, MG Motor has stated that MG takes its association with Vadodara Marathon a notch higher, reinforcing its commitment to local community causes, prime amongst which is the Divyang Run for the specially-abled.

MG Motor has been the title sponsor of the Vadodara Marathon since the British carmaker entered India and set up its manufacturing facility in Halol. Vadodara Marathon is different from other marathons as it is always conducted with the aim to promote various social causes, which includes participation for the specially-abled in the race titled, 'Divyang Run'.
