Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition Revealed

To celebrate its role in the upcoming 25th James Bond film 'No Time To Die, the Land Rover SV Bespoke has come up with a new Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition which will be available for a few fortunate James Bond fans-cum-customers. For those who aren't aware, the 'No Time To Die' bond movie will be released in cinemas on September 30 in the UK and on October 8 in the US.

Sharing some words on the Defender Bond Edition, Finbar McFall, Land Rover Brand Director stated –

The Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is an exclusive take on the most powerful production Defender ever made, inspired by vehicles on-screen in No Time To Die. It represents a meeting of two great British brands and is a unique celebration of Land Rover’s 38-year association with James Bond.

Designed by the Land Rover SV Bespoke, the Defender V8 Bond Edition comes flaunts an all-black theme with 22-inch Luna Gloss Black alloy wheels, coupled with contrasting Xenon Blue front brake calipers. It also features a Defender 007 badge on the tailgate. Not only this, but the puddle lamps will also greet you with the ‘007’ projection, and the '007' illuminated door sills are just the icing on the cake.

No Time To Die Movie release date

Since this special edition will be limited to just 300 units across the world, it will feature a special ‘one of 300’ laser etching mark inside the cabin, along with the SV Bespoke logo. Each vehicle is approved by the vehicle personalization specialists at SV Bespoke in the UK. There's also a specially developed touchscreen start-up animation for its Pivi Pro infotainment system that pays homage to Land Rover’s long partnership with the James Bond franchise.  

Land Rover Defender V8 Special James Bond Edition

Powering the limited edition Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 petrol engine that churns out a whopping power of 518PS and a peak torque of 625Nm. It is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission that drives all four wheels. It is claimed to sprint from standstill to 100kmph in just 5.2 seconds before attaining a top speed of 240 mph.
