2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport Launched At Rs 67.90 Lakh

Jaguar Land Rover has launched the 2024 Discovery Sport in India at Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 3.49 lakh more affordable than before. The refreshed SUV is available in both petrol and diesel options.

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport – What’s New?

For 2024, the Land Rover Discovery Sport receives minor design changes and a handful of new features. These include: –

  • New gloss black front grille
  • Updated LED headlights and taillamps
  • New set of 19-inch alloy wheels
  • New 11.4-inch curved Pivi Pro infotainment screen with wireless Apple Carplay
  • Revised 3-spoke steering
  • New gear selector finished in “Oak shadow.”

The updated SUV also receives a new Varesine Blue paint scheme.

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport Interior

Other notable features of the Land Rover Discovery Sport include a digital instrument cluster, multi-zone climate control, air purifier, panoramic sunroof, a 12-way driver & 10-way co-driver’s power adjustable seat with memory function, digital rear-view mirror, multiple driving modes, powered tailgate, dual type-C USB ports in all rows, and slide & recline functions for the 2nd-row seat, which comes in 40:20:40 configuration, leading to as many as 24 different seat layouts.

For safety, it gets multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera with a Clear Ground View feature, electronic stability control, hill hold & descent assist, traction control, roll stability control, automatic emergency braking, tyre pressure monitoring system, high-beam assist, among others.

Powertrain

Powering the Discovery Sport in a 2-litre turbocharged petrol (248PS/365Nm) or an Ingenium 2-litre diesel (203PS/430Nm) engine, paired with an automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels.

Competition

In the luxury SUV segment, the Discovery Sport takes on the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Mercedes-Benz GLC.
